Salary: Based on skills and experience

Full time: 7.30-17.30 in Summer, 7.30-16.30 in Winter, must be flexible to do overtime during busy periods.

Role: Will be based at our Cowfold offices but working across Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire and Greater London. Must have a full driving licence. ISPE qualification essential. Will be doing a very varied role from pool servicing, refurbishments and new build installations. Must be professional, reliable and have experience dealing with customers. TotalFit are looking for an experienced Spa Pool maintenance engineer to join our team based within the M25.
We require a minimum of two years experience in the industry, you will have an excellent working knowledge of spa pool systems, including water treatments, pumps, filters and pipework and be a member of the ISPE. You will need to be confident working on your own as well as working as part of a team.
A gas or electrical qualification is desirable. A full UK manual  driving licence is essential.

Service Engineer Job advert

Working alongside the Sales, Design and Logistics staff you will be responsible for day to day management of projects to ensure programme is adhered to within timescale.

You will be responsible for managing H&S, ensuring materials & labour on site when required, monitoring job costs are within budget and overseeing training & onsite induction.

You will have previous Project Management experience, preferably in swimming pool construction or similar industry

Full UK driving licence is required

Experience in MS Projects or similar



You will be responsible for producing 2D working CAD drawings and schematics to support the contracts team on site and clients/main contractors

Working with the Sales and Projects staff you will attend meetings both on and off site and be involved in the design of each project.

You will be experienced in CAD and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines

Experience in the pool industry, construction or similar would be preferable



Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the installation of plant rooms including all pool fittings and filtration, pumps, filters and running all pipework to pool based on detailed drawings and schematics from our in-house design team.

You will have experience in pool and plant room installation and have a thorough understanding of all swimming pool equipment and plant including pumps, filters, pipe-work and water treatment units.

Qualifications in gas or electrical connections as well as ISPE would be beneficial but not essential

Full UK driving licence is required

Hydrotherapy Pool Technician & Physiotherapy Assistant (dual role)

£17,102 per annum fte

35 hours per week

We are looking for a Hydrotherapy Pool Technician & Physiotherapy Assistant to work in a dual role across the Physiotherapy department as well maintaining the running of our hydrotherapy facility.

You will be responsible for maintenance and running of the pool and plant room. As such, you will need to hold a pool plant operator’s certificate – current or within past year.

As part of the dual role you will work 15 hours per week around the pool and 20 hours in the gym. You will work as part of a team of Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Assistants supporting to deliver high quality therapy programmes. You must hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 NVQ, or Diploma in a healthcare related subject.

You must ensure that hydrotherapy work areas are kept tidy and equipment cleaned regularly as per the pool protocol, ensure all equipment is safe to use and report any faulty equipment to the Physiotherapy Manager. You will ensure that the pool is maintained to a very high standard promoting its long term usage. You will be responsible in ensuring that all equipment used in the pool is done so correctly and safely as per departmental protocols and have overall accountability for the pool area, in the absence of the Physiotherapy Manager. You will ensure that the pool is suitable and safe for use, whenever it is required.

Our Physiotherapy service delivers a high quality service to learners and citizens with a wide range of disabilities including Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Learning Difficulties. The Physiotherapy service operates one of the UKs largest Hydrotherapy facilities.

You will assist the Physiotherapists with the rehabilitation of students, using a range of delegated exercises and manual physical therapy treatments. You will assist in the treatment of students as delegated by the Physiotherapist within the pool area and support the assessment of student progress, reporting back to the Physiotherapist.

Swimming Pool Engineer


Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced swimming pool service engineer.

The successful applicant will be part of a team of seven other pool engineers working for a long established company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire specialising in regular servicing, new installations and refurbishment work.

The role will be varied and will include working on both servicing and renovation projects for both domestic and commercial clients.

Main Duties

  • Servicing clients’ pools at regular pre-arranged intervals
  • Opening and closing outdoor pools at the start and end of the season
  • Carry out call out and breakdown work
  • Carrying out repairs, servicing and renewals of existing pool equipment
  • Assisting on refurbishment projects
  • Carrying out plumbing repairs and installs

Requirements for the role

  • Ideally experienced in pool servicing with plumbing or electrical experience
  • Full clean driving license
  • Good attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry
  • Must be able to work alone and on own initiative

Swimming Pool Plantroom Installer

We are looking for an experienced pool plantroom installer.  You will have the necessary qualifications and technical skills.  You will be ambitious and want to deliver first-class work.
