 The main purpose of the role will be to service and maintain client swimming pools and assist with any refurbishment activities.

Ideally you will be an experienced Electro – Mechanical Field Service Engineer, electrically biased with knowledge and experience of installation and fault finding, on both three-phase and single phase equipment and control equipment.

Knowledge of mechanical installations including plastic pipework would be an advantage, along with the ability to work alone unsupervised, as well as part of a team.

 A clean driving license is required and you will be asked to sit a theoretical and practical test during your interview.

Seeking Experienced Swimming Pool Engineer


Be part of an ever growing Swimming Pool Design and Construction company with exciting projects around London, Kent and Surrey.

We are a close team of professional and looking for likeminded skilled and experienced swimming pool pipework engineers to work with filtration, heating, chemical dosing systems.


The candidate should be able to travel around London, Kent and Surrey and have experience in the following:

  • Installation and understanding of pipe and fittings ranging through various sizes with the inclusion of various types of valves, manifold, meters and flow rates.
  • Full plant room filtration installations including the plumbing and operation of heating systems, water treatment systems and such like related specific swimming pool equipment.
  • Installation of first stage pool fittings and pipework to newly built pool shells.
  • Site work reporting and coordination with project managers.
  • Ability to work to schedules with attention to detail to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.

The candidate should be competent working with other trades on site and have a caring and motivated approach to each project and general site operations given the responsibility of representing Swimming Pool Design London.

Ideally a clean driving license is preferred but not essential.

Position for Service and Maintenance Engineer for Swimming Pool Company

Our Company is a fast growing business dealing in the construction and maintenance of both domestic and commercial swimming pools. Our turnover has increased dramatically and we plan to grow still further by covering new markets and territories. We have built up a good reputation within our field of trade and are now a multi-award winning company.

We are looking for a reliable, confident person, who is able to work both on their own and as part of a team. Flexibility and a mature work ethic are pre-requisites.  Due to the seasonal nature of our business you may be required to work locally, regionally or within the office. The job is based in Kent.

You need to be a good communicator at all levels and have the ability to deal professionally with customers and suppliers. You are a front line representative of the Company and should promote the business in a favourable light in every way.

Experience of the swimming pool industry is essential. Computer skills (Excel/Word and Outlook) could be advantageous depending on how the role develops and on your own skills and abilities. You must have a clean driving licence.

 Vacancy:  Experienced Swimming Pool Engineer

 This is a very exciting role for the right person and could lead to a long lasting and lucrative career. The candidate will need to be able to communicate with our customers on their level.  We are a family run business, established in 2003; we build mostly domestic swimming pools, and have a showroom with Jacuzzi hot tubs, chemicals and equipment.

Location:  Based in Shrewsbury and working in the surrounding area.

Salary:  Monthly salary dependent on experience.

Hours:  9-5 in full season, Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays.  Reduced hours out of season but depends on how the candidate grows the role.

Job Role:  There is an option to buy into this business as the owners are looking to semi-retire, this is the preferred option but not essential.  However, we would like the candidate to grow the business and become a Manager if possible.
