DP Pool Services Ltd is a well-established, family business with over three decades of swimming pool industry experience covering Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, parts of Northamptonshire and north London. We carry out all pool and spa related works, including, but not limited to new builds, specialist renovation and refurbishments, automatic cover systems and carry out over 280 regular maintenance / service visits a month during the peak time of summer. Being a family business we maintain a strong connection with our clients and have built a reputation on quality, integrity, attention to detail, technical expertise, and good communication with our clients.

THE ROLE

This position is ideal for an engineer with years of industry experience, who is confident and communicative with our customers, and capable of delivering exceptional results with minimal supervision.

YOU WILL:

  • Carry out regular maintenance visits, seasonal openings/closings and advanced diagnostics to work closely with our already 3 strong team of service engineers
  • Troubleshoot and repair filtration systems, heaters, chemical dosing systems, automation, and leak detection
  • Support new projects such as pool builds, plantroom upgrades, pool renovations / refurbishments and equipment modernisation, with installing pipework / pressure testing etc
  • Maintain the high standards and attention to detail associated with DP Pool Services Ltd
  • Assist and serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members.

REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in pool maintenance, servicing, repairs and refurbishments
  • Be looking for long term employment within our company
  • ISPE or other industry qualifications would be an advantage
  • You must be very particular with an excellent eye for quality workmanship
  • Friendly and a good communicator to maintain customer contact
  • Be able to work alone as well as within the team
  • Able to manage your own workload and be adaptable, particularly during busy times
  • Strong, practical understanding of pool hydraulics, filtration, heating and water chemistry
  • Excellent fault-finding ability across electro-mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with pool refurbishments.

HIGHLY BENEFICIAL:

  • Experience leading maintenance projects or overseeing refurbishments
  • Any other Industry accreditations, specialist manufacturer training, or relevant training.
  • Experience with automatic pool covers / Environmental Control
  • Some experience fitting pool liners / preparing pools for on-site lining.

THE ROLE

Fowler Swimming Pools are looking for an experienced swimming pool engineer to join our very busy team! As well as building beautiful swimming pools, we also service and maintain pools in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and parts of London and we need another engineer to help our ever-growing client base.

The role will include all aspects of service and maintenance of swimming pools, and comes with:

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team — someone confident, experienced, and capable of delivering exceptional results with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, routing, and job assignments
  • Ensure all service requests, maintenance visits, repairs, and warranty work are completed accurately, on time, and to a very high standard
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of parts, chemicals, and equipment.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Manage, train, and support service technicians to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing skills development
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused work environment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMMUNICATION

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer service issues, escalations, and technical inquiries.
  • Provide clear communication to customers regarding service recommendations, repairs, pricing, and timelines.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Ability to cover engineers in the field when required is beneficial.

ADMINISTRATIVE & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on service operations, productivity, and job profitability
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS
