Despite the incredible contributions of women in the pool and spa industry, less than 10% of ISPE’s membership is female. To address this, we launched a special promotion for International Women’s Day, offering free enrolment and registration for women signing up for the ISPE Study Course, along with free entrance fees for new female members.
However, during the promotion, we received no applications. This highlights the deeper barriers preventing women from entering the industry. Instead of seeing this as a setback, we’ve chosen to extend the offer until 30th June to encourage more women to get involved.
Additionally, we need more female voices at ISPE seminars. If you’re a woman in the industry interested in presenting, please get in touch. Together, we can create a stronger, more inclusive industry.
