POOL SERVICE AND INSTALLATION ENGINEER

The Opportunity

London Swimming Pool Company is seeking fully trained and experienced service and installation engineers to join our team in New Malden, Surrey. Successful candidates will already have experience in the pool trade and be able to demonstrate their ability to work on their own initiative, as well as part of a team. Ideally, you will be qualified to ISPE Technician Standard and an electrical qualification is desirable.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Install and service specialist controls, such as dosing systems, auto levelling systems and other controls of a similar nature
  • Electrical installation experience would be beneficial
  • Fault-find and remedy on dosing systems, auto levelling systems and other controls of a similar nature
  • Ability to work on and repair automatic swimming pool covers
  • Monitoring the regular servicing of the systems detailed above
  • Service clients’ pools as specified
  • Maintain storeroom supplies/stocks
  • Assist with the refurbishment of swimming pools and spas

MAIN PURPOSE:

Due to significant turnover growth, Guncast Swimming Pools, design and construction company with offices in West Sussex & Oxford are looking to appoint a new engineer, to strengthen and complement the existing contracts and service teams. The company operates within the luxury swimming pool sector both domestic and commercial, and experience in the swimming pool construction industry including filtration, heating and chemical dosing systems is required. Some away UK and overseas travel may be required.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • On site working predominantly on sites anywhere in the south of England and in central London
  • Maintenance works / alterations / plumbing
  • Small works / refurbishment projects
  • To undertake comprehensive pool surveys which follow a specific format
  • To undertake initial site inspections to determine problems and liaise with service manager over how to overcome these so client can be quoted accordingly

Role Description: Hydrocare Leisure Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Swimming Pool Engineer with installations experience to join our growing team. The role will involve assessing and undertaking more complex repairs to both pools and plant rooms, as well as helping with the design and subsequent project management of new pool installations. This is a varied role, and we are seeking a candidate with a keen eye for detail who is as driven at providing excellent customer service as we are. You will attend customer premises to undertake fault finding/leak detection/repair jobs, undertake servicing including filters and visual inspection and all related pump room activities, deep cleaning as required, routing maintenance to pools and spas.
