Total Pool Chemicals have over 30 years’ experience in the swimming pool industry in the UK.

Based near Chester we provide pool plant servicing to neighbouring authorities around the North of England and Wales.

We currently have a vacancy for a pool plant service engineer.

Reporting to our senior technical manager, your role would be to provide servicing of commercial pool dosing and control equipment, pool water testing and other related roles within the scope of the service work.

Duties of the Service Engineer:

  • Servicing and Installing pool plant and equipment.
  • Trouble shooting pool plant equipment and fault finding/rectifying
  • Identifying parts required for replacement
  • Organising information to enable quote generation
  • Reporting verbally and via electronic device to client

Requirements of the service engineer:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a swimming pool engineer or water treatment engineer.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pro-active / forward thinking.
  • Good organisation skills.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Electrical experience would be preferred but not essential
  • Effective organisational ability

We are looking for an Office Supervisor/Executive Assistant, based in Uckfield, who will organise and coordinate the office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation and motivation.

Responsibilities:

  • Production of Sales Ledger Customer Invoices and Quotations.
  • Manage Directors schedules, calendars, appointments and coordinate, assist and produce quotes for the ‘pool build’ side of the business via the Directors.
  • Liaise with 3rd party companies i.e. Bookkeepers, Accountants and be their first point of contact.
  • Coordinate with outsourced IT department on all office equipment

  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organised, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
  • Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance
  • Liaise with the HR department with regards to recruitment and office staff performance as and when required.
  • Organise training of new staff members
  • Coach, mentor and discipline office staff when required

Technical Design Manager

 Position based in: Neston, Cheshire, CH64 3TA

 Primary Function of Role:

To manage the Drawing Department effectively, to enable the development of drawings and schematics (that are mechanically accurate) in line with client’s design intent, expectations, lead times and budget, to facilitate the contracts team to successfully construct, install and commission the works.

Main Duties Will Include:

  • Manage Drawing Department (2no. Revit / CAD Designers & 1no. Mechanical Design Engineer)

This is a full-time permanent position which is site-based and involves daily travel and occasional overnight stays across the UK & Ireland.

MAIN PURPOSE:

Due to significant turnover and growth, Guncast Swimming Pools Limited, a design and construction company with offices in West Sussex, Oxford & Manchester, are looking to appoint a Trainee Assistant Project Manager, to strengthen and complement the existing team. The role will be working within the Contracts team to assist a Senior Project Manager throughout the full luxury swimming pool and wellness installation process – From initial design handover to installation, commissioning and client handover. The company operates within the luxury swimming pool and Wellness Sector in both the domestic and commercial market. Some UK and overseas travel will be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Training given for:

  • Being responsible for a portfolio of projects from site start, through installation and commissioning.
  • Day to day running of all aspects of the swimming pool installation, including management of engineers, subcontractors and site programme.
  • Attend meetings on site (throughout the UK) and liaise with clients, main contractors, site managers and other subcontractors in a confident and proactive manner, building effective working relationships.
  • Evaluate client needs and company requirements, to provide solutions and deliver the product.
  • Office based operations and site management supervision on multiple sites.
  • Responsible for project completion, bringing each project in on time and on budget.
  • Ordering materials for all aspects of the project and responsible for negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices.
  • Working within an existing team to programme engineering staff on a day to day / week to week basis.
  • Working hours typically 8am – 5pm, but travelling may require early start / late finish.
